My Speech For 2018!

This is a video of me saying my speech for 2018! The topic for our school is, "How I Can Contribute To The World To Make It A Better Place". My title was "How My Family And I Are Already Contributing To The World". I really liked doing my speech, I was a bit exciting and I was a tiny bit nervous but I pulled through it all and finished it! I hope you like this post of mine and find it interesting!

Greenhouse Seed Growth

This post is to do with our class business, which is about testing soil and grass growth. This post has in it, a graph of my groups seed that we are growing in our greenhouse outside at school. We look after our seeds and take good care. My group (Gizzy Seed Expert Testers) is growing Plantain. What we do with our plantain grass, is we grow it till it's longer than 2cm, when it's grown over 2cm, we cut the grass all down to 2cm. 

After that process we keep growing the grass over and over again still cutting it down to 2cm. When we cut the grass we then go and weigh it in mills. I hope you enjoy collecting some information about my group growing our grass!

Using a new video tool in class!

This blog post is about using a new video tool called Loom. This new tool is really cool and fun to use. We had to keep starting again because, it kept saying something went wrong in the middle of our recording. That was annoying but we got through it and we have the finished video for you to watch. I hope you enjoy watching this video!

Interschool Cross-Country For 2018!

This blog post I did, was about the interschool cross country on the 5th of August 2018! I was one of three yr 6 girls, who went to the interschool cross country, because I came first for the school cross country. Doing the cross country for the school was fun and I really liked doing it! I have done it for the past 2 or 3 years now! So, I hope you like this blog post and give it a comment if you like!

Daffodil Day For 2018!

This is a little slide show on Daffodil Day! It has a few facts in it. What we did was everyone had to try and dress up in yellow and then we had photo, we also got to buy a daffodil to pin onto your jersey or top. It was a fun day, and I enjoyed it very much. Tamararo For 2018!

On sunday the 2nd of September, some of the students at Makaraka School, did the Tamararo competition. I was one of those people that did the Tamararo, and it was fun and exciting. It was my first time doing this competition. Here are some of the photo's of us warming up, and the finished results of of looks. Everyone thought it was fun, and Mr Swann said that we sounded AMAZING! I thought we rocked the house!

Reflection Of Improving Blog Posts

We are learning to improve our blog posts, if we think they're not so good, so this blog post is about improving your blog posts. By reading this I hope you learn some new things and if your a person that does blog about you work, you could go and improve some of your blogs if you think they're not up to standard.
